You will love this blend of Lebanese Shawarma Spices - perfect to cook chicken, beef or even veggies. The warm spices make for a flavorful dish.
This mix makes about 1 1/4 cup. I use about 3 Tablespoons for 2-3 pounds of meat, you can adjust to your liking.

- 4 Tablespoons kosher salt **half the amount if you are using table salt
- 4 Tablespoons ground cumin
- 4 teaspoon ground coriander
- 4 teaspoons garlic powder
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons ground ginger
- 4 teaspoons ground allspice
- 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
- 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons ground paprika **sweet or smoked
- 2 teaspoons ground Aleppo pepper
- **2 teaspoons ground cayenne pepper - optional for spice
Instructions
- Combine all spices into a bowl and whisk to combine.
- Pour into a jar with tight sealing lid. Store in a cool dry location.
- Good for up to 6 months.
Notes
- Feel free to sub or omit any spices you don't have on hand. This recipe is adaptable to your own liking and budget.
- I use Diamond Kosher salt in my recipes - if you are using standard table salt, please HALF the amount to 1 Tablespoon. Kosher salt is much less salty.
